In addition to this, one of the main reasons I joined and stayed at JAM, is that no matter who you are or what you do, your voice will always be heard and any ideas or challenges are always taken on board by everyone including our CEO. I've played tennis at a high level and after playing at Wimbledon at 8 years old, I've travelled around the world playing in various Junior Tennis Championships.
I currently work as Resource Team Leader within the Contracts team. I'm responsible for placing a range of contractors into the Aerospace and Defence industry. My role involves mentoring Apprentices, recruiting Contractors, managing my current contract book and driving sales across the team.

The main bulk of my day is sourcing candidates for any ongoing or urgent job requirements my clients have. I also keep in touch with all my contractors once they have started in their roles to ensure they're busy, happy and adhering to the clients requirements. I provide market information as and when my clients have any specific demands or changes to their projects. A big part of my role is to drive sales across the team, ensuring we are providing good quality candidates for our clients in the quickest time possible.
We usually group together as a team twice a day to ensure we're all on track. I moved into a recruitment for career development. I worked as a sales person for a finance company which I was successful at but I wanted to develop my career and take my experience down a different route. I was told by family and friends that recruitment was a good route to go down where I could also make a lot of money.
I had interviewed at a couple of recruitment companies and JAM really stood out above them all. The people, the office and the atmosphere all felt really inviting and positive and it still is to this day.
I have progressed in my role gradually from Trainee to Team Leader over the course of the six and half years. In my time here, I have received invaluable support from my mentors and peers and also made lots of great friends. Overall management of the contract team including customer delivery and strategy.
I started as a Trainee in the Contracts department over ten years ago and progressed through the ranks. I now have the responsibility of managing the Contracts division at JAM. To be honest I stumbled into recruitment when I moved to Manchester but soon became addicted to the pace, challenge and ability to be involved with some of the world's leading technology companies. After ten years in the industry, each day still poses a new challenge and gives me the same satisfaction as day one. JAM has always given me the opportunity to develop, learn new skills and have financial security to enjoy my home life.

The values of the business and office dynamic is fantastic which you feel every time you walk through the front door! I was once a leading supporting artist in North Yorkshire, including notable titles such as Harry Potter and Heartbeat! I joined JAM straight after finishing university - despite being a bit of a numbers geek Economics BA and Statistics MSc and always thinking I'd end up in something to do with Finance I'm still in a "people" job over 15 years later and still loving it as much as I did on my first day cheesy I know but true.
I was promoted to a Group Director in and now have a wide ranging role across all aspects of the business… I still "keep my eye in" though and always have a couple of live jobs I'm recruiting for clients! I loved all of my education years, but after my finishing my MSc I had no idea what I wanted to do so i'm one of the many who fell into recruitment Five things; namely no two days are ever the same, the great bunch of people here, the growth plans we have as a company, the career development opportunities and to see us hit the exciting goals we've set as a team and business!
I'm also the reigning JAM table football and pool champion and challenge anyone to defeat me! I'm a Principal Account Manager with responsibility for permanent technical recruitment.
The strange rise and sudden fall of Noel Biderman, the former CEO of Ashley Madison
My days are always exceptionally busy! I start with working through all new applications to external advertisements and then calling and qualifying candidates for new roles. This is usually a minute conversation to go through their qualifications and experience and asses their suitability for relevant roles. I will then spend time speaking with my clients about new and upcoming roles and projects and speak to them about how we can support them with their Resource plans. My day will usually involve a lot of organising and preparing candidates for interviews and then the follow up side with both candidates and clients after.
I love the variety that my job offers me! Every day is different and each day presents its own unique challenges which I love overcoming!! I have worked in recruitment for 12 years over 5 years at JAM and was attracted into the industry by the potential to earn good money in a fast paced and exciting environment. I was attracted to JAM by the impressive incentives and rewards on offer and the culture of celebrating success.
The 3pm Friday finish was also a real bonus! When I was five I was shortlisted to the final three to be the girl in the Milkybar advert!
Here are the original emails between Bhatia and Biderman:
I made the move into technical recruitment in , where I initially focused on Mechanical Engineering. However, due to the relationships I have built with my clients I now cover many facets of Engineering, including Electronics, Software and Electrical Engineering. In addition, I have developed a reputation for filling extremely specialised roles and headhunting assignments for executive positions.
After 7 years in the Engineering field I was keen to take my career in a new direction and recruitment offered me the ideal opportunity. It offered me a heavily client facing role and an opportunity to build up a brand within a business that I can call my own. Fortunately, I am now able to put my Engineering experience to good practice, in appreciating my client's needs and discussing technical requirements with candidates. I was fortunate to receive offers from numerous engineering agencies, but JAM really stood out to me.
Born in , Biderman is a Toronto native. The grandson of Holocaust survivors, he is Jewish — although unsurprisingly, he thinks the 10 Commandments are "outdated. The company launched in , and in was acquired by Avid Life Media, with Biderman taking the reins of the new parent company. Biderman is a relentless self-promoter, having appeared as an "infidelity expert" on CNN, Dr. Phil, Katie Couric, and hundreds of other media outlets. He has even written books about cheating — publishing "Cheaters Prosper: The Cyber-Anthropology Behind Infidelity" in Despite this, Biderman says he's "happily married," and has two children with his wife Amanda Biderman.
The couple have said they would be "devastated" if their partner cheated. With more than 30 million members, Ashley Madison looked on top of the world earlier this year. According to one leaked document, dating from January, Avid Life Media reached 46 countries and 28 different languages. The CEO reveled in this notoriety: Ashley Madison became known for its provocative stunts, and Biderman describes himself on his personal website as "the most hated man on the internet.
At one point Ashley Madison was even sued by the Queen of Spain, over a photoshopped photo of her in one their adverts. But on July 12, Avid Life Media employees arrived at work to find a message from a hacker or hackers going by the name of The Impact Team waiting for them. It demanded the company close down Ashley Madison immediately. Avid Life Media didn't comply. So on August 18, The Impact Team dumped internal company documents online, along with compromising personal data about more than 30 million customers.
