Paco's insertion of himself into a montage of old, black-and-white, sex-education film clips is one of the funniest parts of the show.
As directed by Ken Davenport, the tone of the show is homespun, self-mocking and intentionally silly. Written by Davenport and Sarah Saltzberg, the comedy is based on the same-named book by Abigail Grotke.

Plumb starts off a bit cool, but warms up and becomes more whimsical as the show progresses and she interacts with audience members. She calls people onstage to assist with quizzes, play little games and help demonstrate improbable dating tools, such as a "low-impact workout for flirting muscles," with predictably embarrassing but enjoyable results.
But as confident a taskmaster as Miss Abigail is, she is frequently upstaged by Paco.

Herrera is funny and appealing, giving Paco a mooning, lovesick persona that gets the whole audience rooting for him. Paco's crush on his much older boss is so unlikely that it's made all the funnier by Herrera's loopy, comedic presentation.

With outsize gestures and well-timed glances, Herrera garners constant laughs. It talks about how girls should be fun and attractive and appreciate boys and it is wonderful.
