I don't like rejecting people and this site kinda makes you. Sometimes for no reason other than you can't really talk to so many people at the same time I'm sure there are several good guys who I didn't reply to just because there were so many. Not sure how I would fix this issue but maybe if you could only message the person once they have "liked" each other's profile??
Also that one thing where they pic a match for you and all you can see is a picture?? Really don't like that at all.

Looks are part of connecting but to me a small part. I want to know about them before I say if I think they could be a match. I'm glad I tried zook.. I meet someone that is very special to me.. This was a last ditch effort for both of us! On the last day of my subscription, I decided to message one last match. One thing lead to another and we actually met less than 2 weeks later.
Now, 16 months later, we are planning our wedding.
Chemistry was just there!! There is someone for everyone! Yes there my be automated bots, but there are real people too. I couldn't be happier!!! I sent over messages and got maybe responses. I can assure you that this site is filled with automated bots. I can get a date easily offline. I am simply proving the fact that these sites are scams and they do much worse for society as a whole. Think about all the lonely men and women that pay to find a date, but end up with nothing but lost money. These sites contribute to suicide.

The phone app should be more user detailed, such as be able to delete notifications so as to not take up space. And saying people veiwed you when they didn't. Why do we have to pay to meet someone on line or to CHAT with? When we can just go out and meet someone just the same and not have to pay.

Plus a lot of those guys are really not into getting to know you at all. They give you their number they talk to you once and thats the end of it. Why not be honest and say your not interested? I can literally write so much about these dating websites.

I have used other online dating sites such as Match. They both provide good customer service in my opinion. Then I heard about Zoosk via email. What an absolutely horrible experience from an organizational and customer service perspective. It's generous even giving Zoosk one star out of five. They are a nightmare to deal with. I purchased a 6-month subscription around mid Along with the email, and just after my subscription expired, I also received notifications that people on Zoosk had sent me messages.
So I bit and renewed again. Only to discover that I was charged the full amount for 6-months and the messages from these so called "people" appeared computer-generated? So I attempted to contact Zoosk on both the non-discounted price and the assumingly fake profiles out there. They informed me that I needed to pay by credit card which I did via PayPal and gave no answer to the seemingly "computer-generated" email messages received from potentially fake profiles.
The best ways to get someone's attention on Zoosk and chat with them is through the direct texting chat function or by adding them as a connection. Overall, the quality of the profiles on Zoosk is good. It's easy to get the gist of a member's personality and looks and most profiles are verified. Most member profiles are straightforward and somewhat complete, making it easy to learn about and cruise through potential matches quickly.
When looking at a profile, Zoosk will let you know if the member has recently been online or is currently online. It's possible to get real dates, especially if you chat with people and get to know them first. Although some members have complained about "fake profiles," we have not found any. Most profiles are verified by Zoosk moderators using the member's Facebook or Twitter account or their phone number.

They seem to disappear after the first contact. There are a lot of scammers on the site to filter through. There are not who they pretend to be. I found a couple of photos I did not add to my profile but are on my computer, scary!!! I found this when I tried to delete my profile, which the site confirmed but untrue. This is truly a scam, hope I don't get billed for continuation which I have written to cancel and no authorization for further payment. How are these sites able to run legally??
