This may not work flawlessly- depending on your school schedules- but try to get in touch with each other when each of you wake up in the morning or at least one of you , and again before you go to bed- even if it's only long enough to say good morning or good night and the conversation only lasts 15 minutes.
It's really adorable to be the wake-up phone call for your significant other. It's not an instant form of communication-but if both of you are committed to checking it when you have a spare minute it's possible to have a conversation throughout the day. Be compassionate and be sure to let her know that you support everything she's doing, but that you're feeling a little left behind. The point of a relationship is to be WITH someone not trailing behind them.

My vote is to be supportive. My dad was a physician and he married my mom, a coloratura-lyric. It was after her studies ended, but he was there for her for every performance, willing to move for her wherever she wanted to go, taping her, taking photos, etc. He was very proud of her.
They had a great marriage.
