The serial number is individual to each drum. And yeah I know the hardware is not the best,but the people who designed the hardware for them really didn't get it. The Japanese did however,so late 70's Tama,Yamaha and Pearl stuff was much heavier,which is why unfortunately you see a lot of vintage American drums with Japanese hardware.

Oddly, this drum had a three ply shell and none of the characteristics of the famous Radio King line of snare drums. Smaller bass drums became the standard on all drum outfits by this time. It has all of the hardware, except the outer bass drum ring and a few clamps, but all of the anchors are there.
